Workshops & Mentoring
Cassiah offers low-cost, flexible workshops to writers and filmmakers through 'So You Wanna Write?', offering insight into developing, writing and making their own short films, feature films, and tv projects - all the way from the conception of an idea and beyond. Cassiah also focuses on career development, and offers bespoke mentoring sessions and script feedback to aspiring writers and directors.
Cassiah's workshops take place over 3 evenings online, and include Making Short Films, Introduction to Screenwriting, and Professional Development. The total cost is £75 inclusive of all three sessions, and individual mentoring is optional for an additional discounted fee of £45.
Cassiah offers both one-off mentoring sessions, and a three-session block of mentoring sessions which includes feedback on scripts. The cost of booking a one-off 1hr mentoring session is £50. A cost of booking a block of x3 45-min mentoring sessions with script feedback is at an inclusive rate of £175.
Cassiah's films have been funded by BFI and BBC, winning awards and screening across the UK and internationally. As well as running these services independently, Cassiah has run similar workshops for the BFI, Birmingham Film and Screen School, and multiple Universities throughout the UK. She is also a BFI Network and ScreenSkills mentor.
